HISTORY OF ORONOCO TOWNSHIP. The City of Oronoco came into existence in the 1960's. Until that time, what is now the City was part of the Township. The website for the City of Oronoco has a lot of good history information - a lot of which covers people and events that took place in Oronoco Township.
